If you are scheduled to attend the practice on a day when a medical student is present, this information will be clearly displayed for our patients. If you do not wish a medical student to be present during your consultation with your GP, Nurse Practitioner or Treatment Room Nurse / Assistant, please make our reception staff aware when you have checked in.
We would like to thank our patient's for your continued support.
Thank you to all our patients who took the time to complete our Patient Awareness Questionnaire. This will help the practice shape our future and how we deliver information to our patients. The questionnaire is now closed and the practice will publish the results as quickly as possible.
SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS
If you feel your symptoms may require a same day appointment or you would like to request a home visit, please contact the practice on 01592 620062 and select option 3 between 8am and 11am to discuss your symptoms and concerns with one of our triage nurses.
Our triage nurses are fully trained to assess your symptoms and will offer self care advice or an appointment with an appropriate healthcare professional if required. Not every condition requires an appointment with a GP. Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner can see most conditions, can prescribe and can also refer patients if required. Our Triage Nurses are also Nurse Practitioners and run their own minor ailment clinics on a daily basis. They can also prescribe.
The practice is currently recruiting to our nursing team. Alison, Elaine and Nikki will be continuing to support all our patients on our triage line however, it may take longer than normal for your call to be answered. We appreciate our patient's support and thank you for your understanding.
